I'm visiting family in Lake County for a few weeks over Christmas, 2022. I've hiked in several of the local reserves and wildlife refuges while here and have enjoyed the different environments and wildlife the area has to offer. One suggestion I have would be to improve publicly available information on how to access these places. Trying to figure out where a trailhead is, has been a real chore. Please provide better information on locations of trailheads and various routes to get to them. I realize there are different authorities managing different sites. It would be good if there was more coordination between the different authorities to help the public navigate to the right site, to learn more about each site as well.

This is so ridiculous. Should be torn down.

Would love to visit this park when the weather cools off!

I believe these are no longer available. SO DISAPPOINTED!! I have called numerous state parks and the rangers have all told me they are out of print and no longer available. Can not find anywhere to order them on line also.

what trail is this

This city needs its own police force instead of using the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office. They never respond to your calls and they ignore requests when called for speeders or stop sign runners. You need to make the city safe before you have any bright ideas to build more trails.

More like drug trail. That crap runs behind my family's house and since the opening of the trail we've found needles, empty Suboxone packs, empty baggies with powdery residue inside. Next to this drug issues, the trail has been used to break into House's. Deltona is a cesspool.

I’ve seen bats over the springs at Manatee Springs State Park too. We went for a late night walk with a flashlight since we were staying at the campgrounds. Love bats. Alice

My wife and I are going to ride our motorcycles over there this weekend for a picnic! We live in Wesley Chapel so only about 3 hour ride. Keeping away from large groups due to COVID-19. Thank you for the video as it helped me make the decision on where to go.

Hurricane Michael hit Torreya State Park in 2018 it looks so beautiful in the video not saying that its not a nice park torreya State Park Just doesn't have the hiking trial's (there is only one left) anymore because they got destroyed by that hurricane I still enjoyed the Park very much😊 but all those trees are dead

In the 80’s the opening of this was maybe 75’ wide and about 40’ straight down. There was nothing else there but a group of trees in the middle of an open field. You had to know someone that knew where it was to even find it. It’s amazing it’s now a State Park.
